Raw Materials
Most of the raw material used for COOPERFRIGU comes from farms and their members. There are approximately 3,000 cooperative members / producers who receive permanent assistance of technical experts COOPERFRIGU, designed to maintain high quality raw materials. Another source of raw material is the containment of COOPERFRIGU.
O SPI (Integrated Production System), adopted in confinement, allows complete control and integrated in all stages, from the choice of feed to all management, resulting in the provision of standardized high quality animals.
The animals used for slaughter in COOPERFRIGU are identified and tracked individually through the Brazilian System of Identification and Certification of Bovine and Buffalo (SISBOV) and are duly registered at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply.

The animals are evaluated and checked for their nutritional status and health. The COOPERFRIGU system works in humane slaughter:animals are subjected to a relaxation process, minimizing stress and avoiding unnecessary suffering. |

There is a strict quality control in the process of slaughtering, boning, freezing, shipping and transport of products whose production meets the recommendations of GMP, SSOP and HACCP. All production steps are inspected by veterinarians of Federal Inspection Services( SIF). |

Production Technology |

The modern conception of Cooperfrigu plan allows the entire production process (slaughter, boning, freezing and storage) is made within the same building. The boned meat is frozen in tunnels modern leading the product at a temperature below -35 ° C (-35 degrees celcius) and the chambers in a working storage temperature below - 22 ° C (22 degrees celcius negative). The packing of shipment is made directly into the reefer containers from the cooled chambers of the same building. This preserves the highest quality product to avoid any contamination or thawing. |
